Description
Tesamorelin is a stabilised GHRH analogue, modified at the N-terminus to resist enzymatic degradation by DPP-4 — a different stabilisation strategy from the albumin-binding approach used in CJC-1295 with DAC. That distinction makes tesamorelin a useful comparison point in research on visceral adipose tissue and GHRH-axis pharmacokinetics.
Tesamorelin has one of the more substantial published trial datasets among GHRH analogues, particularly around visceral fat reduction, which is why it’s frequently requested as a reference compound in comparative lipid-metabolism research.
