Description
Tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist — a single 39-amino-acid peptide engineered to activate two incretin pathways simultaneously rather than one. This dual-pathway mechanism is the active ingredient behind Mounjaro (approved for type 2 diabetes) and Zepbound (approved for chronic weight management).
By activating both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, tirzepatide has shown greater average weight loss in clinical trials than single-pathway GLP-1 therapies such as semaglutide.
Tirzepatide is a prescription-only treatment, not available over the counter. You may be eligible if you have a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI of 27 or above with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. Eligibility is assessed through a medical questionnaire reviewed by our clinical team, and treatment is dispensed only where clinically appropriate and approved by a licensed physician.
How to Order
- Complete a short online questionnaire so our doctors can assess your suitability for tirzepatide.
- Doctor review and approval — a licensed physician reviews your answers before any prescription is issued. If your order isn’t approved, our team will contact you directly instead of shipping anything.
- Discreet delivery — approved orders are dispensed and shipped in plain, unmarked packaging.
Side Effects
The most commonly reported side effects are nausea, diarrhoea, and constipation, which usually ease as your body adjusts to the dose. See our dosing schedule guide for what to expect, and do not start, stop, or change your dose without direction from your prescriber.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder. Store lyophilised vials refrigerated and reconstitute immediately before use, following your prescriber’s instructions.
