Description
IGF-DES (Des(1-3)IGF-1) is an N-terminally truncated IGF-1 analogue missing the first three amino acids — a modification that reduces its affinity for IGF-binding proteins even more than the LR3 analogue, giving it markedly higher potency at the IGF-1 receptor per unit dose in vitro.
Because of this increased potency, IGF-DES is often used in receptor-binding and dose-response studies where researchers want to characterise maximal IGF-1 receptor activation rather than model physiological IGF-1 exposure.
After you place your order, a licensed physician will speak with you directly on a live call to review your health history and confirm a prescription is medically appropriate before anything ships. If your order isn’t approved, our team will contact you directly instead of shipping it. Reconstitute with dilute acetic acid/bacteriostatic water per standard IGF handling protocol and store refrigerated, protected from light.
